This experiment serves as an introduction to or reinforcement of concepts relating to measurements. Through a series of investigations, students will become more familiar with different tools that are used by scientists, as well as everyday household items that are designed specifically for measuring. Some concepts that will briefly be discussed are scale, uncertainty, and accuracy in measurements.
