A Panel Discussion in Celebration of Earth Day

The Students 2 Science (S2S) College & Career Webinar series was designed to help build students’ knowledge of 21st Century STEM jobs, which are rapidly growing, in high demand, and essential for a strong, competitive economy. At S2S, we prepare our students with the skills and knowledge needed to successfully pursue these STEM opportunities and empower them towards a brighter future.

Earth Day, which is observed on April 22 each year, is a global event that celebrates the achievements made by the environmental movement as well as raises awareness about the importance of protecting earth's natural resources. In honor of Earth Day this year, S2S is hosting a virtual panel discussion with a special focus on environmental sustainability. The event will feature dynamic STEM leaders from multiple STEM sectors, highlight their education and career pathways, and engage them in a discussion on the importance of environmental sustainability both in their specific roles and in their company as a whole.

This event will be moderated by Gary Sarkis, Students 2 Science’s Chief Science Officer. There will be a Question and Answer segment where the audience can ask live questions and have a chance to follow-up with panelists post-event. The webinar event will be approximately 45-60 minutes in length.
