In this experiment, Vanessa will be working with at home, low cost materials in order to make a Lava Lamp. With the usage of colorful food coloring, vegetable oil, and Alka seltzer, we have the chance to make something interactive and fun for all students of all ages to enjoy. Within this experiment we are able to see how density differences are present from the liquids used and how molecules separate and connect in a simultaneous way.
